When I buy a new orchid from a supermarket or the flower market , I always choose one that has the most unopened buds . I would personally never buy one where all the buds are already open . This is one of my two orchid windows . All of these phalaenopsis orchids are growing a flower stalk or two . This is what I usually do: -When I bring home a new orchid from the shop , I try to make the flowers last as long as possible . I choose one that has the most un-opened buds from the shop .
