TOO LITTLE TOO LATE

TOO LITTLE TOO LATE Why is it only now that the government is intervening and assisting farmers when the extent of this drought has been forecast for months. Also , why does the government feel that an assistance package of less than $200 million nationwide is enough when their forecasted foreign aid figure for the financial year is $4 billion? Why is our own welfare less important than helping out other countries? What do you think?
