Before the weekend has even begun, all signs are pointing to a prosperous British Grand Prix for Lewis Hamilton. Apart from the fact that @lewishamilton and the Merc are almost always at the front of the grid anyway, Lewis has taken 4 out of 5 pole positions and race wins within the last five years at the British track. Mercedes has been so dominant at Silverstone in the hybrid era that only Seb was able to beat them once there in 2018. In fact, 97% of fan predictions have Mercedes winning this upcoming weekend (90% for Hamilton, 7% for Valtteri with Verstappen making up the other 3%). The only one not excessively confident with @mercedesamgf1 is Toto Wolff who acknowledges that one slip up from the team and Max can make a move for a win. If the Merc looked impressive in Hungary, it should be that much more so at Silverstone with its longer track. With Mercedes looking to be a shoe in for top positions, should we be expecting a Racing Point to finally make an appearance on the podium this season? With no rain forecasted, should we be expecting a rather lackluster #BritishGP?
